Yoga sequence to balance Vata

At this time of year during a spell of very cold, dry weather – you don’t need to be a vata type to develop a vata imbalance.

The changing of the season (not to mention all the rushing around as you try to get everything ready for the holidays) can make you highly strung – and your endless to-do lists and need to make everyone happy can make you feel run-down, tired and unhappy.

Yoga to the rescue – Timothy McCall (writing for Yoga Journal) has the following sequence at the ready to help balance vata and bring you back down to earth calmly and gently.

Don’t forget to nurture yourself with lots of warm, hearty food, plenty of rest and try and incorporate some meditation into your daily routine.
