There is nothing new about the concept of gratitude as the key to all blessings – however it is a point worth labouring.
Especially during the times when everything seems to be getting on top of you and you can’t seem to get anything to go your way – you can stop this downward spiral of negative energy by forcing yourself to spend just two minutes in gratitude.
This is literally a case of thinking about the blessings in your life (and even in the worst cases it is usually possible to think of one) and expressing gratitude for this.
This action forces you out of the negative rut you were swiftly running into and injects some much-needed positivity into your day. Changing up your mindset in this way opens you to further blessings and can quite literally save your day.
So do yourself a favour and even (especially) on the days when you don’t feel like it – do your gratitude.
